Five RBI Day For ZACH B Spells Out Victory For MERRICK MAYHEM 8U Over RVC Tigers


ZACH B was bad news for opposing pitchers on Sunday, driving in five on two hits to lead MERRICK MAYHEM 8U past RVC Tigers Orange 8-4 on Sunday. ZACH drove in runs on a home run in the first and a grand slam in the third.


RVC Tigers Orange scored four runs in the fourth inning, but MERRICK MAYHEM 8U still managed to pull out the victory. RVC Tigers Orange big bats were led by Griffo and Giammarino, all driving in runs in the inning.


MERRICK MAYHEM 8U got on the board in the first inning. ZACH hit a solo homer. MERRICK MAYHEM 8U put up five runs in the third inning. ZACH and CHRISTIAN B each drove in runs during the inning.


ZACH earned the victory on the mound for MERRICK MAYHEM 8U. ZACH lasted three and a third innings, allowing zero hits and two runs while striking out eight. ISAAC D threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Griffo was on the hill for RVC Tigers Orange. Griffo surrendered one run on two hits over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Giammarino and Muir entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings and two innings respectively.


MERRICK MAYHEM 8U tallied two home run on the day. ZACH had a four bagger in the first and third innings.


MERRICK MAYHEM 8U saw the ball well today, racking up nine hits in the game. DYLAN R and ZACH each had multiple hits for MERRICK MAYHEM 8U. DYLAN went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead MERRICK MAYHEM 8U in hits. MERRICK MAYHEM 8U didn't commit a single error in the field. CHRISTIAN had the most chances in the field with 15. MERRICK MAYHEM 8U tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. DYLAN led the way with three.


Griffo led RVC Tigers Orange with one hit in two at bats. RVC Tigers Orange was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Muir had the most chances in the field with one.
